The present edition is the 144th annual publication of Brown's Nautical Almanac and, as in former years, unremitting care and attention have been given to its preparation.
 
The Greenwich Hour Angle tabulations and the arrangement of the Ephemeris are in line with the layout of the British and American Nautical Almanacs. Attention is directed to the Table for the correction of Altitudes and Conversion purposes. These are given in the Preliminary Section, pages 6 to 10, for quick and easy reference.
